How Acronym Studio handles generator input, page requests and optional accounts.
Last updated: 2026-11-04
Generator inputs
Acronym and backronym generation runs locally in your browser. The tool does not upload the phrases or letters you type to our server or an AI provider. It does not keep input history in local storage or on our servers. Copying a result writes it to your device clipboard only when you click a copy control.
Website requests
Cloudflare hosts this website. Loading pages and assets sends ordinary request information, such as your IP address, user agent and requested URL, to the hosting infrastructure. Hosting security and operational logs may be processed by Cloudflare. Do not put private input into page URLs.
Preferences and optional accounts
The site can remember a language or appearance preference in browser storage or a cookie. An account is not required for the generator. If you separately create an optional account, authentication uses account information and session cookies. Account profile controls are available in the account settings.
Third-party resources
Fonts used by the public tool are hosted with the site. Following an external source link, such as NASA or USPTO, takes you to that provider and its privacy practices. The generator does not require a third-party AI service.
Changes
This notice describes the generator's current behavior. It may be updated if data handling changes; the date above records the latest revision.
